Paris Jackson Cries About Cyberbullying in Now-Deleted Instagram Post (Video) Paris Jackson, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, uploaded and then deleted an Instagram video of herself crying while talking about cyberbullying and past suicide attempts.

“I don’t understand how there can be so much hatred in the world right now,” the 18-year-old said in a video that was uploaded to YouTube by a fan. “I’ve tried sticking up for myself. I’ve tried the whole ‘blocking the haters’ thing, not reading the comments. I’ve tried a lot of things; ignoring it. But it’s hard.”

Jackson revealed that she tries to be nice to everyone she meets, but doesn’t understand why she’s such an easy target for “haters.”

“When I was 14, I got so much hatred that I tried to kill myself and I took, like, a two-year break from social media, and then people asked me to come back, to make my Instagram public again, so I did. And nothing changed!” she continued. “I’m just tired of it. I’m just really, really tired. And, I mean, I know I’m not the only one.”

In 2013, Jackson was hospitalized after cutting her right forearm with a meat cleaver, according to TMZ, which also reported that she left a suicide note. TMZ reported that Jackson also took a large amount of Motrin, and received stitches for her injury. She was placed under a 72-hour psychiatric hold.

Perry Sanders, an attorney for Jackson family matriarch Katherine Jackson, had told TheWrap that she was “getting appropriate medical attention” but was “physically fine.”

In the video, she also mentioned Justin Bieber deleting his Instagram because of the social media hate about his new girlfriend, Sofia Richie.

“We got brains and hearts and feelings,” Jackson added. “When you say damaging things like that to people, it f—- them up … It’s exhausting.”

On Wednesday, Jackson also tweeted, “I don’t blame Justin for deleting his Instagram account. The type of harassment I see on my account daily is enough to make someone suicidal.”
